Holi Celebrations at Nirvana Adventures

Holi at Native Place was a treat – lots of colour , excitement, running chasing, splashing and squealing and hosing down . The weather was another story all together. The winds turned east n the morning and we scrambled back to Shinde tekdi with the EP students where things went on quite well.

. It was another story all together at Tower Hill and although tandem flights continued solo pilots had to seriously think through about taking off into an irritable and unpredictable sky.

The winds howled on Saturday and the bunch of us decided to enjoy the possibilities in the native place garden and guesthouse to hang with friends, enjoy the views, harvest herbs and salads, making flower and nature mandalas. A beautiful day that ended with watching the sunset by the lake.. spotting the first star and enjoying the cool night breeze and generally enjoying the good life

Dylan, Dwane, Apoorva myself Consuelo and Sunith and the  tandem paragliding pilots set  out for tower hill early on Sunday morning expecting to fly and get back to the guesthouse in time to play Hoil  but alas we waited for a few hours before  Dwane and Dylana and Sunith took off and the rest of us walked back to the parking – I guess i will have to wait another day to capture Apu takeoff in her new wing.
