Although he has had many hours of ground training and tandem flights in the last few years, he joined the course like any other student and progressed from the ground to skimming flights and then solos very smoothly. As I upload this post he has already completed 22 top to bottoms

Eager to fly – paragliding training begins

We all spent a great few days in the post monsoon green environs of Kamshet, ambling about in the tall grasses happy to be out on the hillsides every morning. We had a few showers to dodge and one day we were rained out but the end result was memorable flights, and happy holidays 🙂

Welcoming the East Wind

Friday morning we were out at the crack of dawn and on the road to Tower Hill. An excited bunch of paragliding pilots all looking forward to the unexpected bonus of flying a week or two earlier than anticipated. The flying site was all prettied up after the rains – clothed in yellow wild flowers and a coat of green. There was no one else at the flying site but us and a swarm of dragonflies

Nirvana’s Tree Plantation Drive
