Nirvana’s Tree Plantation Drive
On the occasion of Independence Day Nirvana Adventures donated a hundred saplings to the local village secondary school. We took part in a very moving independence day celebration that brought back memories of our school days. The tree plantation ceremony followed. The children had dug the pits themselves and they requested us to help them out with procuring the saplings. We were happy to provide them with a range of indigenous saplings.
We had already finished planting around 200 saplings of more than 40 different native species and were feeling real good. Then the school asked for saplings and we saw it as a great opportunity . Our relationship with the school began last year when we donated a range of books for the school library. Ravi and Sandeep completed secondary school education here and are proud and happy to be involved. This is only the beginning. Already we have announced 4 workshops on ecology and indigenous trees for the school children. These will take place over the next year. This is a dream come true for us and we look forward to enriching the experience of the kids at Kamshet.Peace Bliss & Happy LandingsAstrid & Sanjay Rao
