Gonshubai – the mysterious elusive bountiful Goddess

Hi All,
Once again the monsoon season approaches signaling the end of another fantastic paragliding season at Kamshet. Nirvana Adventures set the dates for our end of season party (7th /8th of June) We had lots to celebrate and be grateful for – great flying conditions, a safety record to be proud of, bringing lots of new entrants into the world of free flight and the Nirvana Paragliding family.

Twisha’s triumph – 11 year old’s first trek up to Gonshubai

Gonshubai chi uday uday – Vinod Shelar flies over shouting salutations to her [/caption]Saturday morning we had clear skies and the winds were tempered down. Yes we had our cake and ate it too 🙂 Our 17 year old Sunith Rao was most chuffed – after spending the entire season with his head buried in his books (he had a class 12 exam) he emerged by the end of April with only one thought on his mind ‘flying’ – within a month he accumulated 30 flying hours and yet was hoping for an end of season flight too – I guess the universe was listening 🙂
