They flew 6 km back over the hill in a down wind glide. Just 6 km you may say but we were super excited to see Rinul and Foram head out . Way to go girls I said to myself as I kept turning in sink to get yet another view of the crescent shaped wings fading out as they glided further away from us. My heart flew with them.
Another new paragliding season begins with elementary pilot courses at Kamshet. After a long monsoon break the FlyNirvana team is happy to be back in the field helping you to achieve your free flight dreams. Come join us on an adventure in the skies.
I would consider it a good occasion for us pilots flying at Kamshet to stop a moment to reflect on and be grateful for the rapport and respect we share with the local farmers and land owners at Kamshet. our access to the sites here depend on the good will of the local people and we need to tread gently and give back at least a little if not as much as we receive.
I often talk about the ‘nirvana paragliding trip’ a special experience that each of our students and visiting pilots go through – one filled with excitement, discovery, lasting friendships & memories and a sense of belonging to the Nirvana Paragliding Family and Native Place.
The weekend was surely women’s pg weekend . Besides Jan and Vrinda we had 6 new female students join the Elementary Pilot course. Do we see a new and welcome trend beginning here 🙂
