It was entertaining to watch many paragliders come in to land and kids running excitedly towards them to secure packing or simply having fun interacting with the pilots. A fun festive mood prevailed and I enjoyed every moment of it.
Welcoming the East Wind
Friday morning we were out at the crack of dawn and on the road to Tower Hill. An excited bunch of paragliding pilots all looking forward to the unexpected bonus of flying a week or two earlier than anticipated. Sanjay was waiting at Native place for a group of 70 young spectators between the ages of 7 to 15 from St Catherine’s Home and orphanage in Mumbai who were scheduled to come over for a visual paragliding treat. Siemens had arranged a camp for the children at Lonavala as part of their CSR initiative and we at Nirvana Adventures happily agreed to give the children a peek into the world of free flight
