The paragliding season will only reopen in October but each weekend as we drive by on the road from Kamshet to Native place my eyes turn to the Shelar hills on the right to get a glimpse of what is going on there.

How independent are we she asked if we are not allowed to express ourselves and share our concerns about the water of our own lakes being chanellised to industrial towns that have polluted their own water sources. She sure had a point there

The entire day was a gift – we had touched the hearts of 26 children, made a trek to Gonshubai that left us dazed and now we were on our way back home to Native Place to enjoy a dazzling display of fireflies and the company of amazing friends.

Let’s be grateful for our flying sites

I would consider it a good occasion for us pilots flying at Kamshet to stop a moment to reflect on and be grateful for the rapport and respect we share with the local farmers and land owners at Kamshet. our access to the sites here depend on the good will of the local people and we need to tread gently and give back at least a little if not as much as we receive.

The weekend was surely women’s pg weekend . Besides Jan and Vrinda we had 6 new female students join the Elementary Pilot course. Do we see a new and welcome trend beginning here 🙂
